FOR MADISON COUNTY ATTORNEY

VISION

I am running for Madison County Attorney because I believe I have the experience, courtroom strength, and commitment to public service that this office demands. I have experience at every level of the court system, including juvenile, misdemeanor, and district court. The majority of my experience has been in handling felony cases, which the County Attorney has historically been responsible for prosecuting, including tough and high-profile matters.

I have extensive experience working with all of the local defense attorneys, and I believe I have built strong working relationships with most of them. I have also worked closely with the staff in the County Attorney’s Office for many years. They do an incredible job managing the large and varied caseload our office handles. Without their hard work, our office would not function as efficiently as it does.

Ultimately, I am running for County Attorney because I want to continue serving the good people of Madison County and ensure that those who harm others are held accountable for their actions.

One of the primary functions of my job is working hand in hand with local law enforcement to successfully prosecute cases. I intend to continue that successful partnership as your next Madison County Attorney.

WORKING TO KEEP YOU SAFE

I knew from my first day in law school that I wanted to be a prosecutor. I grew up in a conservative law and order family. Being on the right side of the law was ingrained in me from an early age. I was also taught to respect law enforcement officers, that they were the good guys, and they were just doing the best they can in a tough job. I knew that when I grew up that I wanted to be the one trying to make sure that those on the wrong side of the law were held accountable for their criminal actions.

I grew up in many states and regions throughout the country. When I was a child I had no choice in where I lived. When I finally got to choose, I chose Madison County to be my home.

I take nothing for granted in this race and intend to earn your vote and support to be the next Madison County Attorney. I ask you to take a look at my record and accomplishments as a longtime deputy county attorney and with that information I hope that you will vote for me as your next Madison County Attorney. If elected I will spend the next four years fulfilling the trust that you have given to me.
